Ulf Wakenius always captivates the audience, regardless of whether he plays fast uptempo be-bop or throws himself into a ballad.
Together with the Swedish bassplayer Hans Backenroth, who for more than 25 years has been first-call for countless projects, tours and recordings worldwide, and the Danish drummer Kristian Leth, who is also among the elite of Scandinavian jazz musicians, this quartet throws itself into a repertoire celebrating two icons in jazz; Oscar Peterson and Duke Ellington.
